Have the WRT610N and WET610N located about 50 ft from each other. There is an open doorway between the two rooms. The separating wall has kitchen appliances along it.

Generally, dd-wrt is well tested if you don't use the latest test/beta releases. You should have no problem going back to Linksys firmware afterwards.
